SEVENTY ONE - september first at the plush cafe - letter burning, zero feet away, and something fuego started. letters burning was alright, the other two were mediocre at best. then lido beach played and they were swell. and no one goes home ended and made all the sweaty grossness worth it of course. :] they are truly amazing. every time we see them they get better and better. my dad came to the show too and he was totally in awe. he loves them now too. :D hahah.
SEVENTY TWO - september eighth at chain - eye alaska ruled. we missed the first bit of their set, but they were great as usual. june was pretty damn good. i didn't know their music but i liked them nonetheless. the higher<3>
SEVENTY THREE - september ninth at chain - got there early this time, sat on the wall right next to the stage. :D dynamite walls opened and i liked them a lot. i'd totally go see them again. bristol to memory was great too. they have fans now! haha "you guys know them personally?!" silly. no one goes home ruled for the fifteen millionth time. lovelove them. always. haha. scarlet grey was great too. i know i laughed the first time i saw them but after meeting ben and pete and actually watching and listening for a while now, they're pretty great. ben is honestly one of the sweetest people alive and i feel really bad for laughing at them before. great great show though. very nice.
SEVENTY FOUR - september 26th at UCI - newvale was pretty good. sort of something corporate-esque. melee was fabulous. totally blew me away. the singer's voice is completely incredible. very soulful and totally unique. i liked them a lot. and then the format<3>
SEVENTY FIVE - september 27th at the troubadour - black tide ..m/ pretty sweet if you like metal i guess hah. i liked them. their bassist was kinda hot. hahah. annnyway. fire rocket red was good. :] so was lido beach. nogh was fantastic as always. and scarlet grey was lovely<3>
SEVENTY SIX - october 5th at hpcc - band aideee. uhhh kidintheri0t lulz, andd i forget who all played. espa and the bolts were best. mistaking angels was good too. yeah. haha. i don't remember what else happened.
SEVENTY SEVEN - october 13th at the district - eye alaska played for half an hour. for free. :] good as always too. brandon dances silly. hahah. yeah!
SEVENTY EIGHT - november third at the wiltern - mewithoutYou was really really good. i want their cd. thrice was greatttt. i wanna see dk solo too though. but their set was intense. BRANDNEW was beautiful. i wish they would've played more of the early stuff. they only played three songs from the first two cds, but the boy who blocked his own shot was great. other exceptional songs: limousine, sowing season, jesus christ. such a good fucking set. i love brand new so much.
SEVENTY NINE - november fifteenth at chain - reign of kindo, the higher, this providence, daphne loves derby. all fabulous. :] dld was acoustic and insanely beautiful. the higher was lovely as always<3>
EIGHTY - november twenty seventh at the long beach arena - young wild things tour. cute is what we aim for.. was alright. haha. they sounded strange in an arena and they were all trying way too hard to be a rock band. they would've been fine if they stuck with being poppy. anyway, then the plain white t's showed them how it's done. :] they're so good, aww. and tim is just plain gorgeous. ahhh. haha, thenn gym class heroes were up and they were damn good too. "clothes off" was great hahha. and of course, fall out boy<3>
